Save the Date for Easter Buddy Adoption Day at The Meadows!

Get ready for a heartwarming day as we invite you to Easter Buddy Adoption Day at The Meadows! This is a unique event and the first time we have offered greyhounds for both permanent adoption AND short term foster at the same event!

From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, we’ll have a wonderful group of greyhounds eager to meet their future families. Whether you're looking for a playful companion, a loyal walking buddy, or a couch-loving snuggler, there’s a greyhound waiting just for you.

If you’ve attended one of our adoption events before, you’ll know the incredible feeling of seeing a greyhound go home with their perfect match. It’s a day filled with happy tails, wagging excitement, and the start of lifelong friendships.

Adopt a greyhound

Thinking about adding a greyhound to your family? Come along to this wonderful event to meet around 30 greyhounds looking for their forever homes.

If you're not quite if Adoption is right for you, we’ll also have some previously adopted greyhounds attending with their owners to help field all your questions.

Foster a greyhound

Want to give a greyhound a three week break from the kennels? Or thinking about adopting but not sure if it's right for you? You're still welcome to take a dog on the day! Fostering is a great way to help the greyhound adjust more quickly when he or she heads off to their permanent home or to test the waters for your own adoption journey.

Please note, if you intend to Foster on the day you are required to attend an information session prior to the event. We will host one at 10.30am on the morning of the event. During this session, we’ll go over all the information needed for owning/fostering a greyhound with some time for general questions at the end.
